Meet Shauna (Kelleher) Whooley '06, a proud Fontbonne alumna whose journey from student-athlete to communications leader reflects the lasting impact of a Fontbonne education.


After graduating from Fontbonne at just 17 years old, Shauna attended Boston University, where she discovered her passion for communications. That passion led her into public relations before opening doors to opportunities at Meta and now Microsoft, where she works in technology communications.


While her career has taken her to some of the world's leading technology companies, Shauna credits Fontbonne with giving her the confidence, leadership skills, and strong sense of community that continue to guide her today.


As a dedicated student-athlete, soccer played a defining role in her Fontbonne experience.


"Soccer and athletics have always been a huge part of my identity. Being able to help grow the game at Fontbonne was incredibly rewarding."


Today, Shauna continues to lead with purpose, embracing new opportunities while staying connected to the values she developed at Fontbonne.
